The Regina Police Service is working with Regina Fire & Protective Services in investigating a fire this morning in North West Regina.
The call came in at 2:18 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2010, reporting three houses, under construction, on fire on Brookview Drive, in the city’s North West. Police involvement in the initial call was to do an area search and then keep any vehicle or pedestrian traffic out of the area. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire. At this stage, police are now also involved in the investigation into the cause of the fire and are working with Regina Fire & Protective Services to examine any possible criminal aspect to this case.
