Five Regina males: three 18 year-olds and two 17 year-olds, have been charged in connection with incidents of theft from vehicles overnight in an East Regina neighbourhood.
At approximately 3:33 a.m. today, January 5, 2011, police were dispatched to Windfield Road in East Regina after receiving a call from a person reporting a car being broken into. Police arrived in the area and located five male suspects. It is alleged these individuals were in possession of items and cash believed stolen from vehicles in the area. Further investigation led to charges against all five males.
Charged in connection with this incident are 18 year-old Maxwell Jordan CAISSIE, DOB: 1992-04-09, 18 year-old Jarred Kyle MOSQUITO, DOB: 1992-04-27, 18 year-old Joshua Dale ROSS, DOB: 1992-01-08, and two 17 year-old males who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All five are charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under Five-Thousand Dollars [355(b) CC] and Theft Under Five-Thousand Dollars [334(b) CC]. In addition, MOSQUITO is charged with a Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC]. The three adults will be in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. today, January 5, 2011 and the two youths will make their court appearances in Youth Court at 2:00 p.m. today
