The Regina Police Service is investigating a firearm incident which occurred at approximately 1:30 am on Thursday, July 7, 2011. The area of 100 Brotherton Avenue is currently cordoned off to gather evidence.
Preliminary investigation indicates a confrontation occurred in the area of the park. One adult male has been transported to hospital with what appeared to be serious injuries related to a firearm. Police are gathering information and interviewing people as part of the investigation. There is no other information available at this time.
