The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in its investigation into the robbery of a financial institution that occurred shortly after 2 pm today, Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
At approximately 2:14pm police were dispatched to the 2900 block of 13th Avenue for a report of a robbery at a financial institution. Preliminary investigation indicates a lone male entered the premises and demanded money from one of the employees. The male suspect is described as Caucasian, tall with a slim build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled eastbound on foot. No one was physically injured in this incident.
