The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is conducting a death investigation into the death of a 22-year-old male, who was discovered this morning, Sunday, April 21, 2013, in the 3900 Block 17th Avenue.
Police were dispatched at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Sunday April 21, 2013, to the 3900 block of 17th Avenue. There they found an adult male, who was confirmed deceased by EMS. The deceased male was found outdoors on the ground. Police secured the area and are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances of this person’s death.
The deceased male has been identified and his next-of-kin are being notified of his death; however, his name is not being released at this time. Police are carrying out interviews and continue to investigate, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, but at this early stage, have not concluded whether or not this is a criminal investigation.
