The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public in its investigating into a weapons offence that occurred today (Tuesday, January 14, 2014) in an alley of Cornwall Street and 15th Avenue.
On Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at approximately 12:32 pm, police were dispatched to a residence on the 2100 block of Lorne Street to a report of a sick or injured person.
The victim stated to police that he was walking down an alley way near Cornwall Street and 15th Avenue when two males, wearing masks, demanded cash. When the victim stated to them that he had none, one of the masked men pulled out a knife and stabbed him.
The victim was transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Suspects are described as follows: Two males, approximately 6’ 2” and 5’ 10” tall, of unknown age or race, both wearing dark ski masks.
