Police have re-opened the 2000 block of 12th Avenue to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
This morning, just after 10:30 a.m., some glass fell from an upper storey of a building at 2010-12th Avenue. This was tempered glass, so fortunately the pieces that fell did not strike or injure anyone. As a safety precaution, police diverted vehicle and pedestrian traffic away from the 2000 block of 12th Avenue for the remainder of the morning until the remainder of the damaged panel of glass could be safely removed.
The street is once again open. The Regina Police Service thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
