A 25 year-old woman faces charges in a case after a hit and run that occurred yesterday.
On September 30th, 2014 at approximately 4:20 p.m. police were dispatched to the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Angus Street for the report of a motor vehicle accident. It is alleged that a van ran a stop sign, broadsided a vehicle and fled the scene. The victim, a 57 year-old female, had injuries that were described as non-life threatening. The van was located a short time later and the driver was arrested and charged.
Twenty-five year-old Kerry Lynn LONECHILD (DOB 1988/11/19), of Regina, is charged with Fail To Stop At Scene of Accident Involving Bodily Harm [252(1.2) CC]. LONECHILD is scheduled to make her first court appearance on November 18th, 2014 at 9:30 am.
