The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, has concluded that the death of a 65 year-old Regina male, which occurred last week, is not a criminal case. The Coroner’s Office will continue this death investigation, with assistance from police if required, but at this time, there is no known criminal aspect to this case.
This investigation began when police were dispatched on November 21, 2014, at approximately 10:00 a.m. to a house in the 2700 block of 5th Avenue North for a report of a deceased male. Police and EMS attended and located a deceased 65 year-old male. The Regina Police Service and the Officer of the Chief Coroner began a death investigation, which now has determined that this is not a criminal matter.
The name of the deceased male will not be released by the Regina Police Service. The Office of the Chief Coroner will take the investigation to its conclusion.
