The Regina Police Service is asking the public for assistance in its investigation into a break and enter that occurred overnight on the 600 block of Elphinstone Street.
On Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:17 p.m. police were dispatched to a report of a break and enter at a home on the 600 block of Elphinstone Street. A suspect, believed to be female, knocked on the door. The three residents inside did not answer the knockings, and shortly thereafter three males, with faces covered, broke open the door and entered the home. One of the residents, a 59 year-old male, was assaulted. The suspects fled in what appeared to be a white 2010-2012 Chevrolet Silverado, two-door, extended cab truck with silver guard rails. EMS attended to the victim of the assault and he was transported to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
The three male suspects are described as:
1) Tall, aboriginal, approximately 5’11”, thin build, around 25 years of age, dressed in black.
2) Tall, aboriginal, 5’6”, heavy build, around 25 years of age.
3) Small, aboriginal, 4’11”, around 10-12 years of age.
