A male and female, ages 26 and 25, have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) after an investigation last night in Regina.
At about 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2015, police members initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driving in the area of St. John Street and Victoria Avenue. They observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. The items were seized and the vehicle searched. More items, indicative of drug trafficking, were found along with a quantity of cocaine. Both occupants of the car were arrested and subsequently charged.
Twenty-six year-old Jacob Robert GILES-RUDE, DOB: 1988-09-14, of Ogema, Saskatchewan and 25 year-old Nicole Rose TUMACK, DOB: 1990-02-09, of Regina are jointly charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [5(2) CDSA]. Both were released on Undertakings to appear in Provincial Court on March 24, 2015.
