The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in an investigation into the robbery of a senior citizen that occurred last night, Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
Police were alerted to this event at about 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Officers attended to the victim’s residence and learned that the robbery occurred earlier at about 7:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Hamilton Street. The victim, an 80 year-old woman, was walking when she was approached by three male suspects, one of whom was carrying a knife. The suspect with the knife threatened the victim and grabbed money from her purse. The suspects split up and fled on foot. The victim went home on a bus and then a family member contacted police. There is little information to describe the suspects except that they were all males in their 20’s. The victim was not physically harmed in this incident.
