The Regina Police Service responded Friday, June 5th, 2015, to a two vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Lewvan Drive and 1st Ave North, in the southbound lanes.
At approximately 2:30pm on Friday, June 5th, 2015, police were dispatched to the intersection of Lewvan Drive and 1st Ave North for the report of a motor vehicle collision. Police arrived to find two vehicles with extensive front-end damage. Preliminary investigation indicates a southbound vehicle was in collision with a vehicle proceeding northbound and turning west. Regina Fire and Protective Services were called as one vehicle was on fire. EMS attended and transported three occupants of the southbound vehicle to the hospital. The lone male occupant of the westbound vehicle was also taken to the hospital. There were four adult occupants (2 male, 2 female) in the southbound vehicle.
It is not known at this time what charges, if any, may result. The collision is still under investigation.
