The Regina Police Service would like to thank the public for making this past weekend’s events at Mosaic a positive and fun experience for all ages involved.
This year, Mosaic had no calls for service to the police. It is great to see the community interacting in such a positive, safe, and respectful way at all of the fun, family-friendly pavilions. In the planning stages for Mosaic, the Regina Police Service worked with the Regina Multicultural Council to create effective security plans and set expectations for participants’ behavior. Officers from our Cultural & Community Diversity Unit attended all but two out of the twenty pavilions over the course of the weekend and were greeted with respect and smiles wherever they went. Patrol officers who were working general duty throughout Regina stopped by various pavilions when they had an opportunity to ensure things were running smoothly.
The Regina Police Service thanks the organizers of Mosaic and the Regina public for their co-operation.
