On Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at approximately 2234 hours the Regina Police Service received a report of a robbery at a gas station in the 2300 Block of Albert Street.
Preliminary investigation indicated two male suspects entered the business, demanded cash from the staff. One suspect had a knife. The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. There were no injuries in this incident.
Later in the evening Police located and stopped the suspect vehicle. The two male occupants of the vehicle were initially taken into custody; however, one male was eliminated as a suspect after further investigation. The other occupant of the vehicle was charged in connection to this incident. As of 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, investigators had taken a second suspect into custody. Charges against this individual are pending the outcome of further investigation.
Fifty-two year old Steven Wayne MCINNES (DOB: 1963-04-06) was charged with Armed Robbery (343(d) CC). MCINNES made his first court appearance in Provincial Court at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

On Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at approximately 2255 hours the Regina Police Service received a report of a robbery at a business in the 4100 block of Albert Street.
A lone male suspect entered the business. The male pulled a knife on the staff member. The suspect fled the scene on foot with two cases of beer. The staff member sustained a very minor cut to his hand during the incident.
A Police Canine dog tracked and located the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody. The Canine officer sustained a minor injury during the arrest and was treated at the hospital.
Twenty-one year old Joey Lance TATAQUASON (DOB: 1994-01-22) will make his first court appearance in Provincial Court at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, charged with Armed Robbery (Sec 343(d) CC), Assaulting a Police Officer (Sec 270 CC), Breach of Recognizance (Sec 145(5) CC) and Carrying Concealed Weapon (Sec 90 CC).
