Three Regina males are facing numerous drug related charges after an investigation and search by police in the early hours of Thursday, August 27, 2015.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015, the Regina Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team conducted a search in the 2700 block of 12th Avenue after authorization of a search warrant. A search of the residence led to the discovery a substance determined to be of cocaine, open liquor, as well as cash and multiple cell phones. The suspects were arrested without incident and subsequently charged.
Twenty-three year-old Zabur Bakari ABDALLA, DOB: 1992-01-01, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime [Sec 355(B), CC],
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [Sec 5(2), CDSA],
- Three Charges of Fail to Comply with Recognizance [Sec 145(3), CC].
Twenty-eight year-old Christian KARURANGA, DOB: 1987-03-15, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime [Sec 355(B), CC],
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [Sec 5(2), CDSA],
- Two Charges of Fail to Comply with Recognizance [Sec 145(3), CC].
Twenty-two year-old Mohamad Hassan MOALIN, DOB: 1993-03-19, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime [Sec 355(B), CC],
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [Sec 5(2), CDSA],
- Obstruct Peace Officer [Sec 129(A), CC].
All three will make their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015.
