The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is conducting a death investigation as the result of an incident that occurred this morning at a residence in the 1000 block of Princess Street.
At 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, police were dispatched to a weapons call after a report of a male injured at a house in the 1000 block of Princess Street. Police and EMS arrived and located an adult male who was transported to hospital by EMS. The male was pronounced deceased in hospital. The deceased person is an adult male. Among first steps in the investigation will be confirmation of his identity and notification of his next-of-kin. At the scene, police began investigation to determine the events leading up to this incident. There are no other details for release at this time.
