A 35 year-old Regina male faces charges in connection with the robbery, on Friday, March 11, 2016, of a financial institution in the 2900 block of 13th Avenue.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016, a lone male entered a financial institution, in the 2900 block of 13th Avenue, with a firearm and demanded money. He received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. Fortunately there was no one physically injured in this incident. Investigation into this incident led police to the identification of a viable suspect, who was arrested, without incident, on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Further investigation led to charges against a 35 year-old Regina male.
Thirty-five year-old Christopher Jacob MILLMAN, DOB: 1980-04-12, of Regina, is charged with Robbery [344(1)(a.1) CC]; two charges of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to order [117.01(1) CC]; and Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]. MILLMAN will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. today: Friday, March 18, 2016.
