The Regina Police Service is asking the public for information that could assist in a sexual assault investigation.
On Wednesday, June 1st, 2016, police received a complaint of a sexual assault that occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the west alley of the 1800 block of Scarth Street. Police spoke with the victim, a 23 year-old female, and learned that a male followed the victim into the alley, sexually assault her and was scared off shortly after the incident began. The victim did not sustain any major injuries and did not require medical attention.
The male suspect is described as Black, approximately 20 years-old, 5’9” and had a scruffy beard. He was wearing a black ball cap, red shirt, blue jeans and glasses.
