A 26 year-old Regina male has been charged with Attempted Murder following an apparent stabbing incident on Saturday, August 13, 2016 that resulted in injuries to a 27 year-old male.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the 400 block of Edward Street, at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Police became involved shortly after 5:00 p.m. on that date, when officers were dispatched to hospital for a report of a male who’d been admitted with injuries, that were potentially life-threatening. Through investigation, police were able to identify a suspect and located that individual at approximately 8:37 p.m. that night. The male was subsequently charged in connection with the incident. Fortunately, the victim is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries.
Twenty-six year-old Dustin FAVEL-ASAPACE, DOB: 1990-02-11, of Regina, is charged with Attempted Murder [239 CC]. FAVEL-ASAPACE made his first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016.
