The Regina Police Service is asking the public for information that could assist in a sexual assault investigation.
On Saturday, August 13, 2016 at approximately 11:36 a.m., police were dispatched to a reported sexual assault that occurred in Lakeridge Park. Police spoke with the 27 year-old female victim and learned that she was walking along Lakeridge Park with her toddler in a stroller and dog, when an older male approached and spoke to her. He then allegedly put his arms around her; she pulled away and the male allegedly touched her inappropriately. According to the victim, her dog started barking, which caused the male leave in the opposite direction.
The victim described the male as being approximately 60 – 70 years old, about 6’ tall, with a medium brown complexion and a beard about 4-6 inches long. He was wearing a light-coloured button-up shirt.
