A 26 year-old Moose Jaw male has been charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with a 2015 homicide case. The victim, 55 year-old Timothy Rae EVENSON, was found deceased on April 22, 2015.
At approximately 9:53 p.m. on April 22, 2015, police were called to west alley of the 600 block of Retallack Street for the discovery of a deceased person in the alley. The victim was identified as 55 year old Timothy Rae EVENSON of Regina. The investigation into this case indicates the victim and another male were involved in an altercation the evening of April 22, 2015, believed to have occurred on the street in the 600 block of Retallack Street. It’s alleged this altercation led to fatal injuries sustained by the victim. Continued investigation into this death resulted in the arrest, on September 10, 2016, of a 26 year-old Moose Jaw male.
Twenty-six year-old Frederick James Norman BRASS, DOB: 1989-10-10, of Moose Jaw, has been charged with Second-Degree Murder, contrary to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada. BRASS made his first court appearance on the charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016.
