On October 13, 2016 at approximately 1030 PM Police were dispatched to the train crossing on Park Street, south of 6th Avenue for a report of a thirteen year old male pedestrian who had come into contact with a moving train. Regina EMS and Regina Fire Department attended to attend to the male who was transported by EMS to hospital for further treatment. Police restricted traffic in the area for the purpose of conducting an investigation.
Once the investigation was complete, the traffic restriction was removed. The investigation revealed that no charges will be laid regarding this incident.
The male sustained non-life threatening injuries but will be held at the hospital for observation for precautionary measures.
