On October 22, 2016, at approximately 6:00 PM police were dispatched to the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Angus Street for a report of a collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian. A westbound vehicle struck a pedestrian attempting to cross Dewdney Avenue. The vehicle left the scene without attending to the pedestrian or speaking with police. The pedestrian was transported by EMS to hospital with significant but non-life threatening injuries.
Police conducted an investigation at the scene and obtained statements from witnesses.
