A twenty-nine year-old male made an appearance in Provincial Court today (Monday, November 28, 2016) after being apprehended on outstanding warrants.
On Saturday, November 27, 2016, just after 5:00 p.m., police were present at a residence on Highland Way believing a male, who was the subject of numerous warrants, was inside. Police made numerous attempts to contact the occupants of the house, eventually persuading people to exit the residence. One of the occupants, quickly identified as the subject of outstanding warrants, made an attempt to flee but was taken in custody without further incident.
Twenty-nine year-old Kelly Ryan POWELL (DOB: 1987/04/24), of Regina, appeared in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in connection with the warrants and an additional new charge of Breach of Recognizance [145(3) CC].
