The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, has begun a death investigation after an incident overnight which resulted in the death of a 33 year-old female.
Early this morning (Wednesday, September 6, 2017), at about 3:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a house in the 200 block Angus Street for an “Assist Citizen” call for service. Police attended the address and located an adult female inside the house, who was confirmed deceased. Officers secured the scene, and requested the Coroner as well as additional resources, including a Major Crimes team and Forensic Identification investigators. Investigators have identified the deceased adult female and notification has been made to her family; however, her name will not be released by police at this time.
Police investigators, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, are currently gathering information in order to learn as much as may be known about the circumstances of this person’s death.
