On Friday, October 13, 2017, at approximately 12:35 pm, police were dispatched to a financial institute on the 4100 block of Albert Street for the report of a robbery. Information received was that a male had communicated the robbery to an employee, who then complied with instructions to hand money over. It is believed that the male indicated that he had a weapon. No one was injured in this incident.
The suspect left the building on foot, and it has not been determined if the suspect left in a vehicle, nor how much money the suspect made off with. Early description of the suspect describes him as male, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, and appearing in his middle 40s; no further description is available at this time.
