Police are asking the public for information regarding an attempted armed robbery that occurred outside a financial institution early Sunday.
On Sunday, November 19, 2017, at approximately 5:27 am, police were dispatched to a firearms offence that occurred at a financial institution on the 4200 block of Albert Street. It was reported that a vehicle attempted to block in another vehicle that had just finished using a drive through ATM kiosk. Two males, one armed with a long barrel firearm, got out of the suspect vehicle, but the victims were able to drive around the suspect vehicle and drove away.
The suspect armed with the long-barrel firearm is described as wearing a black balaclava mask with eyes cut out. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as wearing a dark toque. The vehicle is believed to be a white Buick Rendezvous SUV.
