The Regina Police Service extends a “shout out” to the White Butte detachment of the RCMP, for a timely traffic stop south west of the city that helped to solve a Break and Enter to a compound, and the theft of a truck and numerous other items.
Officers were dispatched this morning (November 15, 2017), at about 8:53 a.m. to a business in 600 block of 10th Avenue East for a report of a Break, Enter and Theft. When the owner of the business arrived for work, he noted that the compound had been broken into and a 2006 Dodge Ram truck was missing, along with numerous other items. The 30-foot gate was off the hinges and the warehouse had been entered sometime overnight. Forensic Identification investigators were called to the scene to gather evidence. Moments later, the investigating officer received a call, advising that a member of the RCMP White Butte detachment had the stolen vehicle pulled over, just southwest of the city. The truck had been pulled over for a flat tire. Further investigation made a potential connection to the B&E. Regina Police Service members attended and made the arrest of a 24 year-old suspect without further incident. The male was subsequently charged in connection with the Break, Enter and Theft on 10th Avenue East.
Twenty-four year-old Kashtin Keenan ACOOSE, DOB: 1993-05-21, of Regina is charged with:
