A 26-year-old Regina woman was charged with aggravated assault.
On Sunday, December 3, 2017, at approximately 10:57 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1900 block of St. John Street to check on a male that had been stabbed multiple times. Police located the male victim at the Regina General hospital and learned that he was going into surgery as a result of a stab wound to both his right shoulder area and lower left abdomen. The victim was declared in stable condition after the surgery. Police were able to locate the suspect and charged her in relation to the aforementioned incident.
Twenty-six-year-old Tayna Dawn HORSEFALL, of Regina, is charged with:
• Aggravated Assault [Sec 268(1), CC];
• Obstruct Peace Officer [Sec 129(A), CC].
HORSEFALL made her first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, Monday, December 4, 2017, at 2:00 p.m.
