The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may help to solve an incident in which a shot was fired at a Regina residence this morning, through a front window. Fortunately, nobody was injured in this incident.
At approximately 7:12 a.m. this morning, January 9, 2018, police were dispatched to a house in the 1100 block of Wallace Street for a report of a shot fired at a house. Police arrived and inspected a hole in the front window that had gone through two panes of glass. It’s believed that a single shot from a firearm was fired from a vehicle at approximately 7:07 a.m., about 5 minutes before police were called. Residents of the house had not been awakened by the incident, and no one was injured. While police conducted interviews, other officers did a search of the area but did not locate any suspect or suspects. Police have also interviewed neighbours and recovered some physical evidence. At this time, there are no suspects in custody in connection with this incident.
