On Saturday, January 13, 2018 at approximately 5:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the 4400 Block of Rochdale Boulevard for a report that a suspect male had robbed another male of his vehicle.
Preliminary investigation indicates that at about 4:00 a.m. the two males got into a verbal argument on Cavendish Street. The suspect male threatened the victim with a firearm and robbed the victim male of the vehicle he was driving. The victim male ran to a friend’s house where the two got into another vehicle and drove around in an attempt to locate the stolen vehicle. It was not until the victim spotted the vehicle in the 4400 block of Rochdale Boulevard that he called police. However, the suspect vehicle was gone before police arrived. The victim was not injured and, for reasons not yet known, the victim was unable to provide police with a description of the suspect male. This investigation is ongoing.
