On Saturday, January 6, 2018, at approximately 1:50 pm, police observed a stolen vehicle, occupied by two males and a female, parking at a convenience store on the 1700 block of Dewdney Avenue East. The three exited the vehicle and entered the store, where they were arrested and charged for possession of the stolen vehicle. One of the three, who was observed to be driving the vehicle, a twenty-seven year-old male, was found to be disqualified from driving. A search revealed quantities of methamphetine and hydromorphine, as well as drug paraphernalia, and led to more charges.
Forty-one year-old Karri Kean Richelle BUDDEN is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [CC 355(A)];
- Possession of a scheduled substance (methamphetamine) [4(1) CDSA];
- Possession of a scheduled substance (hydromorphine) [4(1) CDSA]; and
- Fail to comply [CC 145(3)].
Twenty-seven year-old Desmon Joseph HENRY is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [CC 355(A)];
- 2 X Fail to comply with probation order [CC 733.1(1)]; and
- 2 X Driving while disqualified [CT 259(4)].
Twenty-four year-old Travis O’Reilly MILLIGAN is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [CC 355(A)]; and
- Possession of a scheduled substance (methamphetamine) [4(1) CDSA].
All three made their first appearances in Provincial Court on these charges today, January 8, 2018, at 9:30 am.
