A 37 year-old male has been charged in connection with an act of mischief at the office of an elected official in late November, last year.
In the original report, Regina Police Service members were dispatched to the constituency office of a Member of Parliament, in the 300 block of University Drive, on November 29, 2017, for a report of mischief. The information received indicated a male in a grey Jeep had stopped in front of the office, exited the vehicle and spray painted the front of the building with a message, before driving away. Investigation into this offence identified a suspect: a 37 year-old male, living in the Rural Municipality of Caron, Saskatchewan. On February 20, 2018, with the assistance of Moose Jaw RCMP, the male was arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5,000.
Thirty-seven year-old Nicholas Kenneth JAMES of Caronport, Saskatchewan, has been charged with Mischief Under $5,000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada. JAMES was released on an Appearance Notice to appear in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m., on March 26, 2018.
