The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is conducting a death investigation after the death of a three year-old girl, (yesterday) Tuesday, March 20, 2018. The child was found unresponsive, in a residence in the 100 block Montreal Street N., just after 9:30 a.m. EMS administered emergency care and transported the girl to hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. Police were called to the hospital, after the child’s death, at approximately 12:25 p.m.
At this early stage in the investigation, there are no other details available for release. The child’s identity is known and the family is notified, but these details will not be made public by police. The Regina Police Service and the Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating further to clarify the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
