The Regina Police Service is releasing the image of a male suspect who is alleged to have committed a robbery at a business in northwest Regina on April 14th.
On Saturday, April 14, 2018, at about 2:25 a.m., police were dispatched to a restaurant in the 4500 block of Rochdale Boulevard for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. Preliminary investigation indicated a lone male, with his face partially covered and carrying a weapon, entered the business premises, confronting employees present. The suspect demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot, southbound across Marigold Drive. None of the employees were physically injured. Investigation into this incident includes surveillance/security images of the suspect. This individual is described as male, about 6’ tall, about 25 years of age, wearing a black/white-patterned winter jacket, blue jeans and gloves. Police conducted an area search but did not locate the suspect. Investigators believe the description of this suspect is similar to suspect descriptions given in connection with other, recent robberies.
