The Regina Police Service reports that a 29 year-old male has been arrested for violation of a court ordered condition to not be in proximity of youth under 16 years of age.
Since April 27, 2018, a male began appearing at a Regina private school and interacting with the children. These interactions were reported to police and investigation determined that the male was in violation of his court-ordered conditions not to be in proximity of children.
On May 17, 2018, at approximately 6:30 pm, the twenty-nine year-old male was arrested.
Twenty-nine year-old Cyril Osagyey EGUAKUN, is charged with:
- Breach of prohibition order (being in close proximity with children under 16 years of age) [161(4) CC]; and
- Breach of Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)].
EGUAKUN made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, May 18, 2018, at 9:30 am.
