The Regina Police Service is conducting an investigation into an armed robbery this evening that occurred at a business on the 4100 block of Albert Street South. The robbery occurred at around 8:30 pm.
Police were dispatched to the business after an employee was approached by a lone male suspect who demanded the employee hand over all the cash from the cash register. The suspect was in possession of a knife at the time of the robbery. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as male, approximately 220lbs, 6′ tall, Caucasian, and his mid-30’s.
This incident is still under investigation.
