The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred early this morning, Friday, June 29, 2018.
Sometime before 5:25 a.m., a shooting incident occurred behind a residence in the 1900 block of Halifax Street. Police attended to find a 33 year-old male, who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS and treated for an injury that was described as non life-threatening. Police were able to get limited information from the victim and, at this stage, are looking for as many as four suspects, but there are few details available.
