The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in an investigation into a home invasion and robbery that occurred on Thursday, June 14, 2018.
Police were dispatched at approximately 9:00 a.m. to an address on the 2200 block Park Street, for a report of a break and enter in progress. When officers arrived, they learned that four males, each carrying what appeared to be a firearm, entered the dwelling and threatened the occupants. A 37 year-old male, who had been outside when the incident started, came to the door and was assaulted by the suspects. An adult female victim and two young children were also present at the time of this incident. This female later reported a large sum of money had been taken from her vehicle. The suspects are then believed to have entered a basement suite at the same address. The occupants of that dwelling were in their suite at the time of the incident. EMS was requested for the male victim, who was conscious and coherent at the scene. There are no other injuries reported. The suspects were described as wearing red; no other clothing description is available at this time. The suspects fled westward, down an alley, on foot.
The Regina Police Service is asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
