A 25 year-old male is now among the persons charged in connection with the investigation into the 4th homicide in Regina in 2018.
This investigation began with the discovery of a deceased male in a house in the 1100 block of Retallack Street just after 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Police and the Office of the Chief Coroner determined that the death was a homicide. The deceased person is 35 year-old Shawn COGHILL from Regina. Investigation led, initially, to the arrest of two males, who were subsequently charged, which was followed by a third arrest of a 33 year-old male, charged in connection with this case. A 25 year-old male, who is now the fourth person charged in connection with this offence, was arrested on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.
Twenty-five year-old Warren Robert KAKAKAWAY, of Regina, is charged with Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence [348(1)(a) CC].
KAKAKAWAY made his first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018.
