The Regina Police Service was on scene at Dewdney Avenue East and Park Street early this morning around 4:00 a.m., investigating the collision of two motor vehicles, one of which is a marked police cruiser. The drivers of each of the vehicles have been taken to hospital by EMS, with undetermined injuries.
Traffic was restricted in the area of Park Street and Dewdney Avenue, with all lanes closed while the scene was being processed. Members of Patrol, Forensic Identification, and collision analysts from the Traffic Safety Unit are investigating the scene. Traffic restrictions are now lifted. As this investigation is in its early stages, no further information is available at this time.
