The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that could assist in an investigation into a weapons offence that occurred on July 11, 2018 at approximately 9:15pm.
On Wednesday July 11, 2018, at approximately 9:15p.m., police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Quebec Street for a report of a male who had been sprayed with bear mace. Police learned the victim was approached by four males in a black four-door vehicle. All the suspects were wearing black bandanas covering their faces. The vehicle stopped next to the victim, and three passengers exited the vehicle and confronted the victim. One of the suspects sprayed bear mace in the face of the victim and then all four suspects fled in the vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS.
There have been no arrests at this time and the file is still under investigation.
