Two twenty-four year-old males and a seventeen year-old female are charged after an investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina.
On June 30, at approximately 3:14 a.m., a search warrant was executed on both a vehicle and a residence on the 2700 block of 15th Avenue as a result of investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina. A search revealed a quantity of a substance believed to be cocaine, another substance believed to be methamphetamine, Canadian currency, and drug paraphernalia.
Twenty-four year-old Reuben Dominic RICKETTS, of Regina, Twenty-four year-old Dillon MCKENZIE, of Regina, and a seventeen year-old female, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are all jointly charged with:
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking (cocaine) [5(2) CDSA];
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking (methamphetamine) [5(2) CDSA]; and
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 [CC 355].
RICKETTS and MCKENZIE made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 am today, July 3, 2018. The youth appeared in Youth Provincial Court on these charges this morning at 9:30 am.
