On Wednesday August 8, 2018 at approximately 8:55pm, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of 9th Avenue North for a report of a gunshot fired towards a male in the alley. The suspects arrived in a two toned blue and grey Ford truck. The passenger in the suspect vehicle got out and began to spray paint a garage door in the alley.
The victim confronted the suspects by yelling at them. The suspect spray painting the garage door got back into the passenger side of the truck and it drove east bound in the alley. The victim ran after the suspect vehicle in an attempt to get a license plate. The driver of the suspect vehicle stopped three or four houses away, rolled down the window. At this point the victim heard a loud bang. The suspect vehicle continued east bound out of the alley.
Fortunately, no one was injured from the gunshot. There are currently no suspects in custody, however the investigation is ongoing.
