At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, police were dispatched to a report of a robbery that occurred in the 1900 block of Scarth Street. The initial investigation revealed a lone male victim was approached by four male suspects and one female suspect. All the suspects were wearing black bandanas. The suspects asked the victim for a cigarette and then demanded victim’s sweater and money. One of the suspects produced a machete. The victim gave the suspects his property and then fled on foot and called police. The victim was not hurt in the robbery.
