The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is continuing its investigation into the October 24th death of a 21 year-old male. As the result of investigation, the death is now being treated as a homicide. This is the sixth homicide in Regina in 2018.
This investigation began on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, just after 10:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to an incident in the 2800 block of Sinton Avenue involving an injured 21 year-old male. EMS transported the injured male to hospital, where he passed away on the morning of October 24. The deceased person has been identified and notification to his family has been completed. The victim’s identity will not be made public at this stage in the investigation.
Police are continuing their work, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, to fully investigate and clarify the circumstances surrounding this death.
