Three Regina adults: two males and a female, are facing criminal charges including Aggravated Assault and Kidnapping after an incident earlier this week, involving a 21 year-old female victim.
On Wednesday morning, October 3, 2018, the Regina Police Service was contacted by RCMP indicating they had located a female who had been kidnapped and dumped in a field. The victim, a 21 year-old female, was in hospital by this time. She indicated to police that the incident began the day before at a residence in the 1200 block of McTavish Street. It appears the victim and perpetrators are known to each other. The victim stated that she had been assaulted, placed in the trunk of a vehicle, and then driven out of the city to a rural area. The victim was later located by a passerby who assisted her and contacted police. Investigation into this incident led to the arrest of three individuals: a 21 year-old male, a 28 year-old female and a 36 year-old male on October 4, 2018.
Twenty-one year-old Cze-Sand BANAB, of Regina, is charged with:
- Kidnapping [279(1)(1.1)(b) CC].
Twenty-eight year-old Allyson Kristina BACHIU, of Regina, is charged with:
- Kidnapping [279(1)(1.1)(b) CC];
- Aggravated Assault [268(1) CC];
- Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC]; and
- Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC].
Thirty-six year-old Jamie Dale MILLER (male), of Regina, is charged with:
- Kidnapping [279(1)(1.1)(b) CC];
- Aggravated Assault [268(1) CC]; and
- Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC].
All three accused made their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018
