A 21 year-old male is facing a charge of Attempted Murder after investigation into an incident on December 1st, in which a 20 year-old male victim was stabbed in the head.
Police were dispatched at about 6:56 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, to a house in the 1700 block of Quebec Street for a report of an injured male. When police arrived, they were advised the victim was already en route to hospital, taken there by friends. Police entered the house and searched for any other injured persons. There were a number of people at the house; four people were detained as part of the investigation, but later released with no charges. Subsequent investigation by Patrol, assisted by the Street Gang Unit, resulted in the identification of a potential suspect. At approximately 7:00 p.m. that day, police located and arrested this individual without incident. Further investigation led to several charges against this individual, including Attempted Murder. The victim, who sustained numerous injuries, was treated in hospital.
Twenty-one year-old Koletyn Blaze CREELEY, of Regina, is facing charges of:
- Attempted Murder [239 CC];
- Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC];
- Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC];
- Possession of a Weapon for a Purpose Dangerous to Public Peace [88 CC]; and
- Carry Concealed Weapon [90 CC].
CREELEY made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018.
