The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist an investigation into an incident where it’s reported shots were fired in the vicinity of 11th Avenue and Winnipeg Street on Sunday, December 9, 2018.
At approximately 12:49 a.m., on Sunday, December 9th, police were dispatched to the area of 11th Avenue and Winnipeg Street for a possible weapons offence involving a firearm. The information received in the call was that there were possible gunshots heard in the area. Police were at the scene within minutes and began gathering any potential witness information and evidence. There is not enough information, at this time, to determine exactly what occurred. At this time, there is no indication that any person received injuries associated to this event; however, it is still early in this investigation.
